On redesigning this site

Redesigning this site ended up being less about design and more about clarity.
The previous version did what it needed to do. It captured output, showed range, and served its purpose. I’m still proud of that work. Over time, though, it started to feel more like a record of what I’d done than a reflection of where I am now.
My competitive soccer career is done. That chapter mattered, and for years it shaped how I saw myself and how I prioritized other parts of my life. Letting it go created space to think more deliberately about what feels meaningful now.
As I continue to work through that personally, it naturally led to some professional reflection as well. Not because anything is unstable, but because it felt like the right moment to be honest about what I’m good at, how I show up, and the kind of work I want to spend more time doing.
A lot of this redesign came down to subtraction. Letting some things live in the background and being more selective about what stays visible. In that sense, it mirrors this point in my life—saying no more often, and rethinking how I measure my worth.
The goal wasn’t to erase the past, just to give the present more room.
I’ll use this Notes section occasionally to write things down as they come up—reflections on work, life, or whatever happens to stick. No schedule. Just notes, when there’s something worth keeping.
